USA Little Theater Alumni gave their support during the Asian Youth Festival
This year, the University of San Agustin Little Theater hosted the annual Asian Youth Theater Festival with the theme: “Weaving Hope.” The festival kicked off on November 22-26, 2023.
Different batches of USALT alumni came together after a long time and visited their alma mater to extend their support. Some even played vital roles during the event.
The USA Little Theater put on “Passion Fruitshake: the Musical,” incorporating alumni cameos that paid tribute to cherished characters from past productions, evoking nostalgia through their short but meaningful appearance. These alumni are indeed a testament to the line of the play, “Passion ko? Theater!”
The collaborative performance of the representatives of each participating group of the AYTF was also co-directed by USALT alumni Qz Martin, with artistic inputs from Ron Matthews Espinosa (Production Design) and Anj Enriquez (Lights Designer).
The tagline, “See you in theatre,” became more meaningful for the former members of the USA Little Theater as they gathered to reminisce and perform in the theater together once again.
The USALT is celebrating its 58th year anniversary this year in lieu of the 120th-year founding anniversary of the University of San Agustin.
