“New Grad Series: You Will Be Found”
The 1st Leg of “New Grad Series: You Will Be Found” 2023 started with the graduating students of the Junior High School Department last May 25, 2023, at the Basic Education Department, Sambag Campus. The Grade 10 students were given a brief refresher and more knowledge about the University and the perks of an Augustinian Alumni.
The 2nd leg of the series was with the Senior High School Grade 12 graduating series. Aside from the Alumni Orientation, the SHS students were also given career talks that may help them in choosing the courses they might take up in college.
The 3rd and 4th leg of the series continues with the graduating students of the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences and Education, College of Technology, College of Commerce, and College of Nursing and Nutrition Dietetics. Our golden eagles were given Life Hacks and pieces of advice as they enter the so-called real world. This talk was given by the Asst. Director and Philanthropic Officer of the University of San Agustin, Ms. Leolette Hubag.
The students were also orientated on why is it important to Pursue Graduate Studies by the University’s Marketing Officer, Ms. Charmaine Frosa. And lastly, Ms. Jessa Gange, the Alumni Relations Officer of the University presented the Perks and Privileges of an Active Augustinian Alumni and on how to get an Alumni ID.
The “New Grad Series: You Will Be Found” Alumni Orientation aims to guide and develop a better relationship with our future alumni as they embark on their journey outside the University. Through this series, we hope that the graduating students of the University will be able to identify their roles and privileges as Golden Eagles.
